What Our Team Says

I love working at Community First Bank because we are one big family. Our co-workers genuinely care about each other and we care about our customers. We view our relationships as a priority and all take care of each other. It’s more than making mortgages for people, I get to make friends.

I also love working at Community First Bank because we believe in giving back to our community. I have a personal belief in giving back to my community and so when I get to do that as part of my job, it’s a bonus! I love Westfield and I love CFB so when I can combine the two, it’s perfect!

I have multiple clients I have developed friendships with. Some have been part of our Veteran’s Day program and we have helped them clean up their yards in preparation for winter, or we’ve had tea and cookies together while catching up on life, others have helped me guide my children down various education paths, and some have ended up joining me with non-profit work and some have even reached out to have my daughter baby-sit for them. It is very rewarding to help people financially, as money is a very emotional thing for most people, but it is even more rewarding to hear life change stories and walk with people through those life changes because what started out as a business transaction has turned into a friendship. This is what community banking is all about!
I enjoy the relationships I get to build with our customers. As a commercial lender at CFB, I have the opportunity to partner with local businesses and assist them as they start and grow.
Even though I work full time, I never feel like I’m not available to my children or my family. Community First holds family in the utmost importance and I have witnessed several times where the bank has whole heartedly supported someone struggling –whether with a loss of a family member, sick children, or even financial struggles. This makes me proud to be a part of a bank that truly cares.

I also love how involved with the community this bank is. It truly holds it’s “Community First” title. I enjoy the many relationships made from working with the public and also the amazing volunteer opportunities where I can give back to the community.
